Hello readers, most of you would be aware of this e-commerce platform i.e Koovs.com, and those who don't know, Koovs.com is an e-commerce website similar to amazon.com, flipkart.com, and myntra.com, where users can buy their likely products online.

So we as a team was assigned to develop the clone of this website as a construct week’s project in Masai School, basically this was our Third group project and we managed to complete it in just 5 days, so yeah, a big appreciation to the whole team .

So, Let's begin the construct week journey, let me take you back to the few days when we got a list of students and clone for the group project.

  • OUR COLLAB

The beginning part is meeting our teammates the second time, as we all were interacting before to each other like we all made the previous project together. So, Masai put us back in the last group to develop the backend part of the same project. so we connected via zoom to discuss Lil bit from where to begin our project.

  • INITIATING WITH THE PROJECT

The next and most difficult task is to distribute the whole work in parts for the implementation of the website, So Finally, after a long discussion, we have decided on which part we guys will work on.

  • WHAT WE USE

So as this was our 4th Unit construct week project so we were supposed to use HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, ADVANCE JAVASCRIPT, MongoDB, Node.js which contains Promises, Imports Exports, ECMA Scripts, and express. We created the whole project with these tech stacks only.

  • CHALLENGES FACED DURING WORK

As we all are working on a project with a team using new Tech, having some conflicts, disagreements, carelessness all the ups and downs are so genuine. Hence here I have mentioned some of the challenges faced by the whole during the project work.

1.Handling Backend :

In the fourth unit, we are not that good in the backend portion So, at such bigger projects we are handling various pages Hence, handling the backend effectively is probably the most difficult part ever to implement a website.

2.Connect Frontend with Backend :

As I said working on the backend is so new for us. we struggled a lot and there is a lot of mess nd complications during merging and connecting the frontend to the backend.

Apart from all the challenges still I feel that I got the best team ever So, a big cheer to my teammates who tried harder and gave their best, learned for the team, cooperating our whole time and the most important is didn't give up till the last. Thankfully we were able to cope with all the challenges and were able to finish our project before the deadline and it is impossible without our togetherness.
